Information and Documentation Center is the responsible body
for the Ministry of Education Homepage content on the Internet.
The Center was established in 1986. It consists of three sections:
Educational Documentation, Computer and Educational Statistics.
The Center is in charge of providing information necessary for
facilitating all the tasks in the Ministry and introducing modern
technology in the administrative work. It aims at promoting work
efficiency, supporting decision making and planning at all administrative
levels. It also has a specialized educational library and publishes
a number of annual reports and bulletins.
Internally, the Center has developed a wide range of information
systems for all sectors in the Ministry using computer technology.
It has developed employees, school administration, scholarships,
financial, materials management, students and educational institutions'
databases.
